TECHNICAL REPORT

January 2026

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and we are looking forward to the new ASPE year. Our next chapter meetup is on January 6 at Syberg’s on Dorsett. Good food, great people, and always a good time. Hope to see you there!

For this meeting, our presentation will focus on Appropriately Sizing Air Compressors for Life sciences and Lab Applications, Research and Medical applications.

Our local representative is Elizabeth Fleming ([email protected]) who is from GlobalVac & Air. They have a reputation for providing superior products at competitive prices. They pride themselves on quality vacuum pump and compressed air systems that work in a multitude of applications across various industries. Their vacuum pump and compressed air systems are utilized for NFPA-99 compliant medical and surgical applications as well as semiconductor fabrication. Other systems are deployed in various plastic molding operations and in furniture manufacturing facilities. Colleges, universities, and pharmaceutical companies have chosen GlobalVac & Air systems for their robustness and reliability in challenging environments. Other typical applications range from soil vapor extraction skids to large dental clinics and teaching hospitals. In addition, their application and engineering departments offer technical assistance to help you select the correct vacuum and/or air compressor system to meet your specific requirements.

With that I am pleased to introduce our next speaker, Bob Littman, co-founder and Vice President for Sales at Air Energy Group, LLC. Bob is an accomplished musician and businessman and adheres to a disciplined and very busy lifestyle. Air Energy Group is now a platform company within Flow Control Group and is part of a greater network of analogous companies throughout North America. Bob has developed unique technical and practical knowledge of compressed air, vacuum, and nitrogen generation systems, and he acts as a consultant to many A&E and mechanical engineering firms. In his spare time, Bob pursues his passions, which include playing fiddle and mandolin with various Celtic and rock groups, road biking, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

If you have any ideas or would like to present at one of our upcoming monthly chapter meetings, please reach out to me or another board member. We are currently looking to fill Feb, March, and May. You can email me at [email protected]
